It is with great sadness that I have to inform you of the passing of Sheila Gibson  in the early hours of Saturday 27th December.

 

Sheila was our Vice-Chair and a very active member of the Branch. She was the wife of CPO Hugh Gibson who served in Aden with the Royal Navy from February 1965 to February 1967. Sheila joined him in May 1965. They lived in Maalla. 

 

Sheila will be greatly missed by all those who were fortunate to know her.

 

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday 30th January 2026 at 1pm at

Cheltenham Crematorium (new)

Bouncers Lane

Cheltenham

GL52 5JT.

In the Oak Chapel.

The Service will be live streamed on zoom for those enable to attend and will be available for 28 days after, details to follow.
